Rescue operations have been intensified to save 41 workers trapped in the Silkyara tunnel. The work of laying pipes is continuing under the supervision of experts on Tuesday. Today the rescue team has achieved great success. Now food is also being delivered to the workers and on the other hand, the first video of the workers has also surfaced.

Uttarkashi district in-charge and cabinet minister Premchand Aggarwal also reached Silkyara today. During this he inspected the tunnel. Said that we are going to be successful very soon. So far the entire campaign is going in a positive direction. On the allegations of the opposition, he said that this is not the time for politics. The opposition should also wish for the safe evacuation of 41 workers. If the opposition has any suggestion then let us know, we will implement it.
Centre’s advice to TV channels, do not sensationalize Uttarkashi incident
According to news agency NI, the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has advised TV channels not to sensationalize the Uttarkashi tunnel case.
Drilling started again with auger machine
Drilling has started again with the auger machine in the Silkyara Tunnel. Due to which about 34 meters of drilling has been done so far. Earlier 900 mm diameter pipes were laid for 22 metres. Up to 12 meters of pipes of 820 mm diameter have been laid inside them. If all goes well, the pipes are expected to be crossed by this evening.
Government is making every possible effort to evacuate the workers-CM Dhami
CM Dhami said that under the ongoing rescue operation in Silkyara Tunnel, a six-inch diameter pipe is being passed through the debris and food as well as other essential materials are being supplied to the workers. In this regard, we are continuously receiving guidance and support from the respected Prime Minister. Our government is making every possible effort to evacuate all the workers safely.
