Uttarakhand: Sugarcane crushing season of Doiwala Sugar Mill begins, support price will be announced soon
The one year wait of the farmers has ended today. Doiwala Sugar Mill was inaugurated by Cabinet Minister Premchand Aggarwal on Wednesday after formal worship.

After the inauguration, Cabinet Minister Premchand Aggarwal said that he is also a farmer and knows the plight of the farmers. Whenever farmers came to him with problems, he solved their problems. The Cabinet Minister said that the support price of sugarcane will also be declared soon.
Efforts are being made for better recovery
Sugar Mill’s Executive Director DP Singh said that this time efforts are being made to ensure better recovery than last time. This time a target of crushing 32 lakh quintals of sugarcane has been set.
