Uttarakhand / Satpuli: Heavy collision between two buses, 22 passengers injured, undergoing treatment in hospital

An accident took place in Satpuli of Pauri on Monday morning. There was a massive collision between the buses coming from Kotdwar to Chaubattakhal and from Chaubattakhal to Kotdwar near Srikotkhal Ekeshwar. 22 passengers traveling in the bus are said to be injured in the accident.

Huge collision between two buses
The accident occurred on Monday near Satpuli Ekeshwar Road (Revenue area). The matter was related to the revenue sector but after getting information about the incident, the team of Satpuli Police Control Room reached the spot. The police team along with SDRF personnel rescued the passengers and sent them to the hospital for treatment.

22 people suffered minor injuries in the accident
While giving information, police station chief Deepak Tiwari present on the spot said that at the spot, bus number UK 15PA0241 which was going from Kotdwar to Chaubattakhal and UK 15PA0825 which was coming from Chaubattakhal to Kotdwar. Both the buses collided head-on at a turn near Srikotkhal Ekeshwar.

Ongoing treatment in hospital
Police station chief Deepak Tiwari said that the team that reached the spot worked hard and rescued the injured and sent them to Hans Foundation Hospital, Satpuli Sain with the help of an ambulance. Pauri SSP Shweta Choubey said that 22 people suffered minor injuries in the mutual collision between buses. Everyone is safe. No one has been seriously injured.
