Hindu festival holidays cut in Bihar, Uttarakhand BJP state president protests

BJP has called the reduction in holidays on Hindu festivals in Bihar as appeasement of Indi alliance and the real face of anti-Sanatan. State President Mahendra Bhatt sarcastically said that the Congress government had made similar efforts here regarding holiday for Namaz and Muslim University, which were completely rejected by the people of Devbhoomi. Also challenged that if the local Congress leaders have even a little debt left for Devbhoomi, they should publicly criticize this anti-Sanatan decision.

In an informal conversation with the media, Bhatt alleged that the Nitish government with Congress alliance has decided to insult Hindutva only to please a particular class. It is regrettable that the holy festivals of Janmashtami, Mahashivratri, Rakshabandhan, Ramnavami have no importance for them. We have no objection to their increasing faith and belief in Eid and Bakrid, but this kind of attack on Hindu faith will not be tolerated. He said, ever since the ED alliance was formed, Congress and its allies have intensified their attacks on Sanatan culture. Some talk about the complete destruction of Sanatan Dharma, some call it an incurable disease or insult all its religious symbols and scriptures. Despite being the biggest ally of the alliance, the silence of the Congress high command shows that all this is being done at their instigation.

He reminded that the people of Uttarakhand had seen such efforts during the Congress tenure from 2012 to 17. During that time, claims were made for holiday of Namaz and creation of Muslim University. But even thinking like this is impossible in Devbhoomi. This is the reason why the people of the state are continuously teaching a lesson to Congress for their appeasement policy. He alleged that Congress does opportunistic politics, displays sacred thread outside and makes promises of appeasement behind closed doors.

Shocking the local Congress leaders, Bhatt said that if they still have a little bit of Uttarakhandiyat left in them, then they should publicly criticize this decision of the Bihar government which insults the Sanatani culture. Although such expectations from Congress leaders are futile, they feel sad over the demolition of illegal tombs, illegal conversions and action against Love Jihad but do not even regret the anti-Sanatan steps taken by their own government.
