Uttarakhand: Bharat Sankalp Yatra started from Dehradun, 35 camps will be organized in 3 days, the aim is to increase awareness about the public welfare schemes of the government

Today, Cabinet Minister Dr. Premchand Aggarwal flagged off the ‘Bharat Sankalp Yatra’ run by the Government of India for urban areas. Meanwhile, he said that the objective of this yatra is to increase awareness among the public about the public welfare schemes of the Government of India through active public participation.

Cabinet Minister Aggarwal said that for the successful implementation of the central schemes run under his Urban Development Department such as PM Swanidhi Yojana, camps will be organized and information about PM Awas Yojana, Swachh Bharat Mission and Amrit Yojana will be given through publicity vehicles. He said that regarding the schemes of the remaining departments, the beneficiaries will be informed about the benefits of the scheme through camps.

Let us tell you that in this Bharat Sankalp Yatra, all the Municipal Commissioners or Executive Officers have been made nodal officers for operation and implementation in urban areas. In the first phase, video vans will be operated in 22 camps from Dehradun Municipal Corporation on 28th November, followed by 10 camps in Haridwar and 3 camps in Cantonment Council, Garhi Cantt. A route chart has been prepared and 35 camps have been proposed for this yatra.
