Telangana: Kaushik Reddy’s emotional appeal, “If you don’t vote, then come in the funeral procession”

Voting is to be held on all 119 assembly seats of Telangana on November 30. In this context, the election campaign also stopped today i.e. Tuesday at 5:00 pm. A strange statement from BRS leader Kaushik Reddy came to light on the last day of the election campaign. Actually, Kaushik Reddy is contesting from Huzurabad assembly seat. On the last day of the election campaign, he made an emotional appeal to the public in his constituency and said that it is in your hands to win or defeat me.

“If you don’t vote for me, then…”

Kaushik Reddy further said, “If I have your blessings, then you will come in my victorious procession, otherwise you will come in the funeral procession of three of us including daughter and wife, now the decision is yours. If you defeat, will I commit suicide here? Will win or lose as per your choice. If you don’t vote for me, all you will see are the dead bodies of the three of us, it’s your kindness. If we win, I will take out a victorious procession on the 4th, otherwise you guys come on our funeral procession.”

Kaushik Reddy had lost in 2018

Kaushik Reddy is a former cricketer. His wife and daughter were also with him during the election campaign. Huzurabad assembly constituency falls within Karimnagar district in Telangana, which is an unreserved seat. In the 2018 assembly elections, TRS (now BRS) candidate Eatala Rajender had won from here, while Congress candidate Kaushik Reddy had to face defeat at that time.
