Uttarakhand: After the last rites, the young man was reborn and was named according to Hindu customs.

The person who was cremated by his relatives considering him dead in Sripur Bichuwa village was found alive on Wednesday. On Thursday, the priest was called and the rites like naming, sacred thread and marriage etc. were performed again. The young man has now been named Narayan instead of Naveen. Police received information about the death of an abandoned person from Sushila Tiwari Hospital, Haldwani on 24 November. After seeing the photo found in the pocket of the deceased and the free employment medical checkup form of the Corona period, the police contacted Dharmanand Bhatt, a resident of Sripur Bichuwa and informed him about the incident.

Due to differences, the family lived in Lucknow

Actually, Naveen Chandra Bhatt, son of Dharmanand Bhatt, had rift with the family, due to which his wife lived in Lucknow with her children. Naveen also went to work for brother Keshav Dutt Bhatt, who ran a small hotel in Rudrapur. He did not even go to his brother for a long time. For this reason the relatives did not even know Naveen’s whereabouts.

Meanwhile, on receiving information from the police, the relatives reached Haldwani, where they identified him as Naveen Bhatt and brought the body home. Here he performed the last rites of the dead body and sat on the funeral pyre. On Wednesday, his Rudrapur based acquaintance called Keshav Dutt Bhatt and informed him that Naveen Bhatt was alive. This caused a wave of happiness among the relatives. After informing the police, he brought Naveen from Rudrapur.

Naveen was given a new name after the naming ceremony

Meanwhile, on Thursday, the relatives consulted with the senior people of the village and decided that Naveen’s rebirth rites would be performed. Although the children raised objections regarding this whole matter, but after persuasion by the village elders citing tradition, they agreed.

After this, the village priest Anand Ballabh Joshi was first called and the naming ceremony of Naveen was done and he was named Narayan Dutt Bhatt. After that, symbolically, her sacred thread and marriage ceremony were also performed, under which the wife’s beautiful form was returned.
