Uttarakhand: Cabinet meeting will be held tomorrow, subsidy may increase to increase investment in service sector, policy will be approved!

To increase investment in the service sector, the state government can increase the subsidy on opening big hotels, resorts, hospitals, schools, colleges and universities. A proposal to amend the service sector policy has been prepared. The policy may be approved in the cabinet tomorrow. In the Global Investors Conference, the state government will encourage investors to invest through the service sector policy. The Dhami Cabinet had approved the state’s first service sector policy in the month of September, but the notification for implementing the policy has not been made yet. In the road show of the Global Investors Conference, entrepreneurs willing to invest in the service sector had suggested the state government to amend the policy.
New hospitals expected to open in cities
On the basis of this, there is a preparation to increase the subsidy given on investment in the service sector policy. The government estimates that after the implementation of the policy, an investment of Rs 60 thousand crore can be made in the state by 2030, which will provide employment to lakhs of people. In the health sector, in the policy, new hospitals are expected to be opened in Dehradun, Haridwar, Haldwani, Kashipur, Rudrapur, Roorkee apart from big hill cities.
Apart from this, universities, colleges and schools will open. In adventure sports, investment is expected in mountaineering, water-based kayaking, rafting, canoeing, skiing, snowboarding, ice skating sports in Chamoli and Uttarkashi in Uttarkashi, Pithoragarh, Nainital and Tehri.
