Uttar Pradesh: Haven’t you been drinking? Were selling milk from refined and urea for years, after the raid many tankers spilled ‘white poison’ on the road

For years, black milk business was being done by mixing urea and refined milk with other powders in the district. From time to time, including during festivals, the Food and Drug Administration kept checking and supplying food, but in Hardoi, wherever adulteration was going on in the factories of adulterators, no raids were seen there. But now the adulterated milk caught from Abhishek Dairy in the district has been taken out from tankers and destroyed. Its video has also surfaced, in which several tankers of adulterated milk are seen flowing on the road.

Poisonous milk was also caught many years ago

According to sources, several years ago, several tankers of adulterated milk were found at the same Abhishek Dairy, which was destroyed by the departmental officials and even its license was cancelled. But after some time this factory started operating again at the same place. The milk coming out of the tankers inside this Abhishek Milk Factory of Sandila is actually poisonous milk which was supplied from Sandila to other areas including Lucknow metropolis. Poisonous milk produced in a factory running in the district was being sold for years.

Chemicals and 17,000 liters of adulterated milk found in the factory

It is being told that the farmers union was also getting information about this in Sandila area for many years but without giving this information to the department, the district president of Bharatiya Kisan Union Awadh started keeping an eye on it. After this, after getting the information, he reached the factory where adulterated milk was being made. They informed the police, after which Food and Drug Administration officials also reached the spot. Officials recovered five drums (1000 litres) of sorbitol, two drums (400 litres) of milk powder and 100 kg of milk powder at Abhishek Dairy on the spot. During this period, 17,000 liters of adulterated milk was also recovered, which was filled in big tankers. It was destroyed by the Department of Fertilizers and Drugs. The value of the destroyed milk is said to be around Rs 8 lakh.

Farmers Union caught adulterated milk

District President of Kisan Union Organization Jitendra Singh said that he informed the Food Safety Department and the police that the business of adulterated milk was going on in Abhishek Dairy. After the farmers union reached the dairy, the dairy workers fled. After receiving the information, the team of Food Safety Department along with the spinning mill outpost in-charge also reached the spot. Assistant Food Commissioner Satish Kumar said that after receiving the investigation report of adulterated milk, action will be taken as per rules.
