Uttarakhand: Trial landing can be done at Naini Saini airport in Pithoragarh, good news can be received soon

There is a continuous demand to restart air services at Naini Saini Airport in Pithoragarh district. In view of this, efforts to start regular air service from here have intensified. Preparations for trial landing have been completed at the airport.

Trial landing will take place at Nainaisaini airport on December 4
After the demand of the local people to start regular air service from Nainaisaini Airport again, CM Dhami had assured to start it soon. After which preparations for trial landing at the airport have been completed.

Airlines are closed since 2020
Let us tell you that a plane slipped on the runway during landing at Pithoragarh Nainisaini airport on 20 March 2020. After which the air service from Naini Saini airport is closed. Due to continuous demand to restart it, trials are being conducted to restart it.

There has been a demand to start regular air service for 30 years
People of Pithoragarh have been demanding to start regular air service from Nainisaini Airport for the last 30 years. But even after 30 years, regular air service has not been started from Pithoragarh. Let us tell you that some time ago DGCA had issued Uttarakhand Civil Aviation Development Authority (UCADA) license. If the trial landing is successful then it is expected that air service from Pithoragarh can start soon.
