How Army Major started sending intelligence from the country to Pakistan, got trapped in Facebook; The President dismissed

The investigation said that the Major was in constant touch with the Pakistani intelligence officer and was giving him information. Now this former military officer has filed an appeal in the bench of the Military Forces Tribunal. He has asked for a copy of the court order in which allegations were made against him. East

The officer says that he wants to file a review petition against his dismissal, for which documents are necessary. The President signed the Army Act 1950 officer was removed under Section 18. When Major’s espionage was exposed, two mobile phones and a laptop were recovered from him. A hard drive was also seized. When all this was forensically examined, it was found that it contained many important information and he had sent it to the agents of Pakistan.

During the investigation, all social media platforms including Major’s Facebook account were searched. Initially it was suspected that he was in contact with 4 to 5 Pakistani intelligence officers. It was later revealed that he was in contact with the same intelligence agent. However, the Major later claimed that he did not know that he was a Pakistani agent. She had kept her name as Aarushi Akash on Facebook. There were two courts of inquiry against the officer, in which he was found guilty.
