The case of raid of UP cadre IPS officer posted in Mizoram in Delhi is gaining momentum day by day. The country’s Home Ministry has sought a report on the PCR call made in this matter. Investigation has revealed that the IPS officer used Delhi Police personnel and Ertiga car deployed at his Delhi residence in the raid.
Kaushal Singh, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police, South-Western District, is investigating the case under the supervision of Dr. Sagarpreet Hooda, Special Commissioner of Police (Law and Order Zone-1) of Delhi Police. On the other hand, no trace of the victim Nigerian has been found yet. He is still missing.
According to senior sources of Delhi Police, an IPS officer of UT cadre posted in Mizoram had raided Sagarpur-Dabri area on November 29. This officer had sought help from Dwarka District Police. But it was not told that he himself had come on raid. Later it was found out that IPS officers were involved in the raid.
Besides, he used the Delhi Police personnel posted at his Delhi residence in illegal raids. It is also being told that he himself had gone to Vasant Vihar police station and sought police assistance from there also.
Investigation has revealed that the Nigerian who was picked up by Mizoram Police during the raid was later released. It is also being told that Mizoram Police detained the Nigerian youth for three days at an unknown place in Delhi.
The Nigerian’s brother had made a PCR call on November 29 and alleged that the Mizoram Police had arrested his brother. The police have taken Rs 35 lakh from him and a demand for Rs 20 lakh is being made. The Nigerian youth has been missing since that day.
He is married to a girl from Mizoram. The Union Home Ministry has taken the PCR call made by the victim’s brother seriously and has sought a report from Delhi Police Commissioner Sanjay Arora.

Police sources say that the IPS officer had gone to Vasant Vihar police station to seek police assistance. Here he said that he is the captain and ask your captain for help. Here captain means Deputy Commissioner of Police. It is being told that he was given police assistance from Vasant Vihar police station.
Location found in Noida
During investigation, the police found out that the location of the mobile number from which the PCR call was made was Noida. It has been found that the SIM and mobile set of this mobile have been newly purchased. Only one call has been made from this mobile. This mobile number has been switched off since the PCR call.
