The body of an elderly man was found from Ganganahar in Roorkee. There was a stir among the people after the dead body was found. People nearby immediately informed the police about the incident.

On Saturday, the body of an elderly man was found from Mahila Ghat near the Municipal Corporation bridge. The discovery of the dead body created panic among the people nearby. People informed the police about the incident. After receiving the information, the police reached the spot, took possession of the body and sent it for post-mortem.
Police engaged in identification
The identity of the deceased elderly has not been identified at present. The age of the old man is said to be around 50 years. During interrogation, nearby people told that the old man had been seen roaming on the banks of Ganga canal many times before. The police have started trying to identify the elderly man.
