Police arrested one more main accused in Dehradun jewelery showroom robbery case, three still absconding

Exactly one month after the robbery of crores of rupees that took place at Reliance Jewels on Rajpur Road on November 9, Dehradun Police has arrested another main accused. Let us tell you that a reward of Rs 2 lakh was declared on the accused.

Another main accused arrested
The accused was identified as Vikram Kumar Kushwaha (34), son of Ram Pravesh, resident of Bihar. The accused was arrested from Uttar Pradesh and brought to Dehradun. According to the information given by the police, accused Vikram tried to fire at the police. In retaliation by the police, the criminal was shot in the leg. The accused has been admitted to the hospital for treatment.

Had come to Dehradun from Ambala and carried out the incident
According to the information given by the police, a loaded pistol has also been recovered at the behest of accused Vikram. It is being told that the accused had come to Ambala from Bihar along with the accused involved in the robbery incident in Ambala. After reaching Dehradun from Ambala, Vikram along with his other associates carried out a robbery in Dehradun.

Three main accused still absconding
Let us tell you that till now two main accused in this robbery case have been arrested. Whereas six accused are those who had provided the vehicles used in the crime to the accused. At present three main accused are absconding. Whose search is going on.

This is the whole matter
In fact, during the President’s presence in Doon on the State Foundation Day, armed miscreants had carried out a robbery in the jewelery showroom of Reliance located on Rajpur Road. The miscreants had fled from here with jewelery worth Rs 14 crore.

Since the day of the incident, Doon police is continuously busy in arresting the miscreants. Various teams of Doon Police are camping in different states including Bihar, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, West Bengal and are continuously raiding to arrest the miscreants.
