Uttarakhand: BJP gives emotional farewell to the mortal remains of senior leader late Mohan Singh Rawat ‘Gaonvasi’ at the party headquarters

BJP bid an emotional farewell to the mortal remains of its senior leader late Mohan Singh Rawat ‘Gaonvasi’ at the party headquarters. On this occasion, in the presence of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and State President Mahendra Bhatt, former CM Trivendra Singh Rawat, Tirath Singh Rawat described his demise as an irreparable loss to the BJP family.
The mortal remains of the late villager, a former cabinet minister and senior BJP leader, was brought to the party headquarters on Balbir Road this morning. Where Chief Minister Pushkar Dhami and State President Mahendra Bhatt paid floral tributes to him. Along with him were former CM Trivendra Singh Rawat, Tirath Singh Rawat, Tehri MP Maharani Mala Rajyalakshmi Shah, State General Secretary Organization Ajay Kumar, State General Secretary Aditya Kothari, Khilendra Chaudhary, Dharampur MLA Vinod Chamoli, Khajan Das, State Office Secretary Kaustubhanand Joshi, Suresh Bhatt, A large number of party officials and senior workers including Dan Singh Rawat, Devendra Bhasin, Rajendra Anthwal, Mrs. Madhu Bhatt, Mrs. Indubala and villagers paid homage to the deceased. On this occasion, on behalf of the entire BJP family, the villager, who was one of its founding members, prayed for the demise of the blessed soul in the state. Also prayed for peace of the departed soul and strength to the bereaved family to bear this immense sorrow. The CM, all the former CMs and senior leaders wrapped the mortal remains of their elder villager with the party flag and shouldered his last journey and bid a tearful farewell.
Earlier on this occasion, Chief Minister Dhami said, the demise of ‘Gaonvasi’ ji is an irreparable loss for the BJP family. Not only has he made an incomparable contribution to the development of the state as a minister and MLA, the result of the tireless efforts of skilled organizers like him is that lotus flowers are blooming in every village. He said, the true tribute to him would be that we all follow the principles and path shown by him and bring about a decade for Uttarakhand.
State President Mahendra Bhatt said, Villager ji is one of the select founders of the party in the state, whose hard work has established the party to its roots in every village. As a political and social worker, his simple, friendly and caring behavior is exemplary for everyone. Besides, his working style of living the thoughts and principles of the party will always act as a moving encyclopedia for the party leaders and workers. The villager has devoted his entire life for the party, the entire BJP family is saddened by his demise. Now it should be the effort of all of us to implement his vision regarding the development of the state.
