Uttar Pradesh: Had come to get bail, but ended up behind bars himself; ACP was stunned when he asked, ‘500 rupees surety’

The six sureties who came to the court of ACP Haripvarvat to give bail to the accused on Thursday turned out to be fake. When the secret of the sureties was exposed during the question-answer of ACP, the police arrested them. During interrogation, it was found that hired sureties roam outside the court with Aadhaar cards. Those who do not have sureties, they are given bail by taking Rs 500. A case of fraud has been registered against the accused at Rakabganj police station.

In the past, fake sureties were exposed in many serious crimes in Diwani. Advocates were also caught in the game of fake sureties. The police had also registered cases. Verification of sureties did not reach the police station. The bail forms were presented in the court with fake seals. After formation of Commissionerate, cases of breach of peace are presented in ACP court. The accused get bail from here.

Were booked for breach of peace

On Thursday, the police had issued challan to Girraj, his son Vikas and Shivam from Kotwali police station and presented them in the court of ACP Mayank Tiwari for disturbing the peace. ACP said that he definitely asks the relation of the accused from every surety. The accused is being released on his surety. If the accused commits any incident, it will be the responsibility of the surety.

Could not give information about the accused

When the bailiffs came before him on Thursday, he asked for the names and addresses of the accused. The bailiff could not give any answer to this, he got scared and tried to run away from there. The police caught all the six accused, when interrogated they told that they had come with Rs 500 each to give bail. ACP said that the names of the arrested accused are Komal Singh resident of Pura Govardhan Khandauli, Jitendra, Ramesh Chandra resident of Etmaddaula and Jai Kumar, Manoj Kumar and Anek Singh, residents of Fatehabad.

He was addicted to drugs and often used to demand money from his mother. There used to be a lot of quarrel between the two when the mother refused. The father told that Manmohan was missing from home since the incident. After which, he expressed doubt that maybe his son had committed the murder and set the room on fire. The police already suspected the son The police immediately registered a case against the son and started investigation. After which, on the night of 14 August, the police arrested Manmohan Singh from Kulhal area. During interrogation, Manmohan Singh confessed his crime. He told that he has been addicted to drugs for a long time. He has already gone to jail in drug smuggling and Arms Act cases. On the day of the incident, he had asked his mother for money for drugs. But his mother refused to give him money and also did not let him go out of the house. He fled with the money after the murder After which, Manmohan Singh, in anger, attacked his mother’s neck with a wooden stick kept in the house. Due to which she died on the spot. After the murder, Manmohan Singh wrapped the body in a mattress and set it on fire so that it appeared that the woman died due to burning. Manmohan fled on a motorcycle with 30 thousand rupees kept in the cupboard of the house and his clothes.
