The Tourism Minister reached Mussoorie on Tuesday. After reaching George Everest, he inquired about the facilities being provided to the tourists. Along with this, George Everest also talked to the officials regarding the beautification of the area. Talking to reporters, he said that India’s only cartographic museum and beautification of George Everest area has been done at a cost of Rs 23 crore 52 lakh.

Took stock of arrangements in George Everest
Cabinet Minister Satpal Maharaj said that full facilities are being provided to the tourists coming here. He said that Mount Everest has been measured by Radhanath Sridhar and Nain Singh Rawat. The entire work was carried out under the supervision of Sir George Everest, Surveyor General of India. He told that the children coming here will get to learn a lot.

Satpal Maharaj told that the tourists coming here are being given a tour of the Himalayan region through air safari. This will prove to be a milestone in the field of tourism. During the inspection, Tourism Minister Satpal Maharaj was also seen taking information from the tourists about the facilities available in the George Everest area.
