Uttarakhand: ‘Drugs Free Devbhoomi Mission 2025’ organized, CM Dhami administered oath of drug freedom to the youth

‘Drugs Free Devbhoomi Mission 2025’ program was organized in Uttarakhand at Gandhi Park in the capital Dehradun. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami participated in the program. Many public representatives were present on this occasion.

Resolve to make Devbhoomi drug free by 2025: CM

CM Dhami said that we have resolved to make Devbhoomi drug free by the year 2025. This campaign will have to be connected to the people. Only then will we move towards the success of this campaign. CM called upon the youth of the state to cooperate in the ongoing campaign to stay away from drugs.

People associated with drug trade were declared enemies of the society

CM Dhami said that people associated with drug trade are enemies not only of the law but also of the society. As much strictness as possible should be imposed on such people. CM Dhami said that under the NDPS Act, action has been taken on a large scale in the entire state. CM said that work is being done to make de-addiction centers effective in all the districts.

Addiction treatment facility will start soon

CM Dhami said that Addiction Treatment Facility (ATF) is also being run by the government. This facility has been launched by ATF NDDTC coordinated by AIIMS Delhi and with the assistance of Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India.

Youth administered oath of drug freedom

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on receiving approval for operation from the Central Government. Along with this, the youth were also administered an oath to create a drug free state.
