Uttar Pradesh: Drives e-rickshaw, family lives on rent in Lucknow, police reached home to investigate the horoscope of Sagar who jumped into Parliament

A major lapse has come to light in the security arrangements of Parliament on Wednesday. During the proceedings of Parliament, two youths suddenly reached the MPs’ bench. After this both the youth started shouting slogans. Meanwhile, both the youths took out color gas from inside their shoes and sprayed it in the Parliament. Due to this the entire Parliament went up in smoke. There was panic among the MPs after this incident that happened during the proceedings of the winter session. However, both the youths were immediately arrested. When both the youths were searched, one of them turned out to be a resident of Lucknow. Aadhaar card has been found from this young man, in which his name was Sagar Sharma. After this, the security agencies started investigating the horoscopes of the two youths caught from the Parliament. When UP Police reached Sagar’s house in Lucknow, the scene was different.

Everyone was stunned to see the police arriving in the locality. Apart from Sagar’s family members, the police also interrogated the neighboring people. Police took information about Sagar’s nature. Sagar’s mother told that he is an e-rickshaw driver by profession. Sagar’s father is a carpenter. Sagar’s mother told that two days ago he had left the house saying that he was going to Delhi with his friends. Sagar had told that he was going to participate in some demonstration. Sagar’s mother says that she had no idea about this act of Sagar.

Sagar’s family lives on rent in Lucknow

After the incident in Parliament, security agencies became active. When the two accused caught in Parliament were searched, Aadhaar card was found from Sagar. Sagar’s address in the Aadhaar card was recorded as Alambagh, Lucknow. After this the security agencies started investigating. Security agencies reached Sagar’s house at the address recorded in the Aadhaar card and collected necessary information about Sagar. Sagar’s family lives in a rented house in Ramnagar, Alambagh. A total of four people live in Sagar’s family. Apart from Sagar, he has a sister. Sagar has been living with his parents and sister in Lucknow for about 15 years. Family members say that Sagar has no quarrel with anyone, they don’t know how he reached Delhi. Apart from this, the police also interrogated the neighbors regarding Sagar’s behaviour.

Two people were protesting outside the Parliament, detained

Shortly after the incident of two people jumping into the House during the proceedings of the Lok Sabha, two people were detained from outside the Parliament House. Delhi Police officials said that the two people detained outside the Parliament House have been identified as Neelam (42) and Amol Shinde (25). Neelam is a resident of Hisar, Haryana while Shinde is a resident of Latur, Maharashtra. Officials said that after opening the canister that released smoke outside the Parliament House, both of them raised slogans like ‘dictatorship will not work’, ‘Bharat Mata ki Jai’ and ‘Jai Bhim, Jai Bharat’.

Sagar’s family broke relations with Peerjadigarhi of Unnao years ago

The family of Sagar Sharma, who jumped into Parliament, is originally from Peerjadigarhi locality of Purva town of Unnao. People here say that Sagar’s Baba Shyamlal used to work in the Irrigation Department in Lucknow. Later the whole family settled there. Sagar is the son of Shyamlal’s elder son Roshanlal. Roshanlal and Sagar no longer had anything to do with Peerjadigarhi. His part of the house is in ruins. His family had two and a half bighas of land, which has been sold. Sagar’s cousin uncle Dharmendra told that Sagar’s family did not come to Peerjadigarhi for 20-25 years. Even when Roshanlal comes to attend a relative’s wedding, he stays for a while and returns back to Lucknow. People of the locality told that Sagar’s father Roshanlal has four brothers. Raja, Bablu and Dablu also live in Lucknow.

Sagar has been in Delhi also

People of Peerjadigarhi say that Sagar’s father Roshanlal earlier lived in Delhi. There was carpentry work there. He worked there for many years. During that time Sagar also stayed with him in Delhi. It is possible that his contacts from that period may still be in Delhi. According to the information that has been filtering through to Peerjadigarhi, Sagar has been undisciplined. Due to his absence from home and association with unruly people, his family members were also troubled by him.

Uncle’s name came up in the murder

According to the people of the locality, the name of one of Sagar’s uncles had come up in the murder that took place in Gomtinagar five-six years ago. The people of the locality came to know about this when Lucknow Police reached Peerjadigarhi while searching the house of one Amit Kumar. No one could recognize the name Amit. People recognized him when he told his father’s name was Shyamlal and his caste was carpenter. The police were told that the family had left the house years ago. Now those people do not come here.
