Israeli army tied bombs to the body of Palestinian hostage

Last week, some pictures went viral on social media in which it was seen that Israeli army has taken dozens of Palestinians hostage. The IDF had claimed that these people were Hamas fighters, who were taken into custody after surrendering. But many Palestinians claimed that these are not Hamas fighters but ordinary citizens living in Gaza. Now a detained Palestinian citizen has revealed about the treatment meted out to him by the Israeli army. 30-year-old Hakim said that the Israeli army used him as a human shield against Hamas.
“Bomb was tied to the body and sent inside the tunnel”
Palestinian civilian Hakim said that after detaining him, the Israeli army put a belt filled with explosives on his body and attached a GoPro camera to his head with a rope around his waist. Speaking to Middle-East Eye, Hakim said, “An Israeli soldier told me that he wanted to send you up before going into the Hamas tunnel. They had made complete preparations to put me in the tunnel. I felt that today I would be killed but when they came to know that there was no one in the tunnel, they did not put me in the tunnel.” Let us tell you that Hakim’s brother and many relatives are still in Israel’s custody.
Hamas currently has 130 Israeli prisoners
Since the Hamas attack on October 7, which killed nearly 1,200 people, Israeli forces have launched large-scale attacks on Gaza. In which at least 18,700 Palestinians have been killed. Israel says that it will not end the war until Hamas is eliminated. The Israeli military reportedly believes it has killed 2,000–6,000 of the estimated 30,000 Hamas fighters in Gaza.
In recent days, Israel has begun flooding Hamas tunnels with seawater, despite the possible presence of approximately 130 Israeli detainees.
