It was fortunate that the girl’s life was saved. The girl refused to live in her in-laws’ house. The girl says that my mother forcefully got me married without my consent. Now she does not want to live in this marriage. This incident took place in Makhdumpur Dih locality. The girl told that she loved someone else. She wanted to marry him, but the family put pressure on her and forced her to marry him.

The wedding procession had gone to the girl’s house on 14th December

The boy’s father Mohammad Tayyab told that he had married his son to the daughter of Gafaruddin Ansari alias Lallu, a resident of Sigodi in Patna district. Reached Sigodi with the wedding procession on 14th December. After the marriage, after bidding farewell, we reached our home in Makhdumpur with the bride. After a few hours, the girl jumped from the house with the intention of committing suicide. He was hurriedly taken to Jehanabad Sadar Hospital with the help of villagers.

The girl refused to live in her in-laws’ house
