PM Modi was overjoyed by the woman’s speech, said – You speak well, will you contest elections?

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while talking to the beneficiaries of Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra in Barki area of the district on Monday, the second day of his visit to Varanasi, told a woman beneficiary that you speak very well, you will contest the elections. PM Modi told a beneficiary of Ayushman Bharat scheme that now that you have recovered, think of doing something further. The leg is injured, not the brain. Chandadevi, president of Radha Mahila Self-Help Group, told PM Modi that before joining the group, the financial condition of her family was not good. The family of 5 people had to face many problems. Some women told me about a group and advised me to improve their financial condition. Following his advice we joined that group.

‘My effort is to make 2 crore Lakhpati Didi’

He told that after joining the group, we started farming by taking an amount of Rs 15 thousand from it. Earned income of Rs 30 thousand from vegetable farming, after which loan of Rs 15 thousand was repaid and Rs 15 thousand was saved. Then, in the same group, when I got Rs 1.10 lakh from CIF, I took one lakh from here and took the farm on mortgage, which gave me a lot of benefit. After this our financial condition became better. Then I came to know about Bank Sakhi and then joined it. I developed my own identity as a bank sakhi. The entire credit for my separation goes to PM Narendra Modi.

Impressed by Chandadevi’s words, PM Modi asked her how far she had studied. Chanda told that she has studied till 12th. Then Modi said that you give such good speeches, have you ever contested elections? Chanda said no. On this the PM again asked – Will you contest elections? To this Chanda replied that no. We are impressed by you, we keep pace with the efforts you make. Whatever we have achieved is because of you. PM Modi told Chanda Devi that you have now become Lakhpati Didi and my aim is to make 2 crore women of the country Lakhpati Didi.

The leg is hurt, not the brain – PM Modi

Another beneficiary Jhannu Lal told that in 2005, the hip bone of his left leg was broken due to falling from a tree and it was costing a lot of money to get it treated, I did not have the money. Then Asha didi of the village got my Ayushman card made. And I had an operation in September this year.

PM Modi asked Jhannu Lal what will you do now. On this he said that we will see if he gets well now. Have been taking medicine for 8 months. Will think about it after getting well. On this PM Modi said to start thinking. The leg has been injured, but the brain has not been injured. On this Jhannu said that I was not able to walk even a little, but after the operation I am able to walk a little.
