‘Dunki’ storms the box office for the fourth consecutive day

Shahrukh Khan’s film Dunky has been creating buzz for a long time. The reason why Dinky came into discussion is also Shahrukh’s last two films. Seeing the way first Pathan and then Jawan created a stir at the box office, the same was expected from Danky. Despite earning less than Pathan and Jawan, this film has made good collections so far. Donkey hit the theaters across the country on 21st December. After a huge opening of Rs 35 crore, the film’s collection fell down on Friday.

However, on the third day of its release, Dunky again gained momentum and took advantage of the weekend and earned Rs 28 crores. Now people’s eyes are on the fourth day collection of the film. Since it is Sunday, the film is expected to earn well on the fourth day as well. However, the release of Prabhas starrer Salaar has definitely slowed down the pace of Dunky.

Dunki fourth day box office collection
Salaar, which was released a day after Donkey, is giving tough competition to Shahrukh’s film, due to which the film is not able to collect like Pathan and Jawan. After a spectacular opening, Dunky’s collections got a shock with the release of Salaar on the very next day. However, the weekend took over the film and the collection of the film increased on Saturday. According to Sunday, the box office collection of Dunki on the fourth day was satisfactory.

The film collected Rs 29 crore at the box office on the fourth day of its release. With this, the film has earned around Rs 125-130 crores so far. However, the budget of the film itself is 120 crores and in this respect, Dunky cannot be considered a big success at the moment. King Khan’s film also faces the challenge of passing the Monday test the next day.

This year was very special for King Khan of Bollywood because three big budget films of Shahrukh were released one after the other. However, if we talk about box office collection, Donkey looks weak compared to Pathan and Jawan. Pathan had collected Rs 38 crore at the box office on the third day, after which the total earning of the film in the first three days was Rs 161 crore. Talking about Jawan, the collection on the third day was around 68 crores and the total earning of the first three days was around 180 crores.
