Uttarakhand: Mussoorie Winterline Carnival had a dull start, did not become a center of attraction for tourists

For the past few years, the Winterline Carnival has been organized in the Queen of Hills. Every year the Winterline Carnival is the center of attraction for tourists. But this year the Mussoorie Winterline Carnival in Mussoorie has had a lackluster start.

For the last few years, Winter Line Carnival has been successfully organized by the Uttarakhand government in Mussoorie to introduce the tourists from India and abroad to the culture, food and cultural traditions of Garhwal. In this series, this year also Winter Line Carnival is being organized from 27th December to 30th December. In which the carnival was started today by taking out a procession from the Survey Ground located at Landor.

But as has been seen in the past years, a huge crowd was seen in the carnival procession coming out from the Survey Ground, in which the band of ITBP Force and students of about 10 Hindi and English medium schools were marching past. Were visible. Along with this, hundreds of local citizens used to participate in the procession. This time the crowd was nowhere to be seen.

No concrete preparation was seen from the government side
This time, neither the crowd nor the students of various schools nor the ITBP band were seen at the entire ground during the Winter Carnival procession. Only a few groups, two-three, were seen presenting cultural programs in traditional clothes of Garhwal. Apart from this, no concrete preparation was visible from the administration side. However, there was a traffic jam during the procession due to which policemen were seen clearing the traffic during the procession.

Congress accused the administration of negligence
City Congress President Amit Gupta accused the administration of negligence and said that the administration has decided to organize the Winter Carnival in just 10 days for which no proper plan was prepared in advance. Somewhere in this, the negligence of the administration is clearly visible because no publicity of any kind was done this time. This clearly shows that it has become a mere food supplement. On this occasion, the President of Garhwal Mahasabha also admitted that there is some deficiency in the administration. But since today is the first day, there is a possibility of crowd gathering in the coming time.
