There was a stir in Okhalkanda of Nainital district when an unidentified body was found in a ditch late on Sunday evening. The dead body has not been identified yet.
Unidentified body found in ditch in Okhalkanda
Late on Sunday evening, the dead body of an unidentified youth was seen in a ditch by the local people in Kukna village of Okhalkanda block of Nainital. There was a stir in the area after the discovery of an unknown body. The villagers informed the Patwari about this. After which Patwari Ravi Pandey, along with the team and local people, took the body out of the ditch.
The dead body could not be identified
The body has not been identified yet. According to the information received, at 6 pm on Sunday evening, a villager saw an unknown body lying in a ditch. After which he informed the villagers and Patwari about this. After which the body was taken out from the ditch with the help of local people and regular police. Efforts are being made to identify the body.
The dead body looks a few days old
According to the information received, the dead body appears to be a few days old. Prima facie it is believed that the youth died due to falling into the ditch. At present the cause of death has not been known. The cause of death will be digested only after the post mortem report comes. The age of the deceased is estimated to be between 30 and 40.
