On Monday, the first day of the year, Transport Secretary Arvind Singh Hayanki called a meeting amid reports of a strike involving transport businessmen across the state. Officials from Transport Headquarters, RTO and Transport Corporation participated in the meeting.
He instructed to keep an eye on the ongoing strike against the motor accident law. Also asked to make alternative arrangements in case the strike extends. He also asked to talk to the representatives of the transport corporation and other organizations. On which discussions were also held at the RTO level. Secretary Hyanki has called upon all the transport businessmen to cooperate in maintaining the smooth functioning of the transport system in the state.
