Uttarakhand: Government alert regarding transport strike, Secretary called a meeting, talked with officials

The government has also become alert in view of the nationwide strike by transport traders and drivers. While Secretary Transport has called a meeting and asked to keep alternative arrangements ready, he also talked to the representatives of transport organizations in this regard.

On Monday, the first day of the year, Transport Secretary Arvind Singh Hayanki called a meeting amid reports of a strike involving transport businessmen across the state. Officials from Transport Headquarters, RTO and Transport Corporation participated in the meeting.

He instructed to keep an eye on the ongoing strike against the motor accident law. Also asked to make alternative arrangements in case the strike extends. He also asked to talk to the representatives of the transport corporation and other organizations. On which discussions were also held at the RTO level.
