Swami Anand Swaroop raised demand to ban liquor and meat in Uttarakhand, said- start from religious city Haridwar

President of Shankaracharya Parishad and Peethadhishwar of Shambhavi Dham, who reached religious city Haridwar, Swami Anand Swaroop has raised the demand of banning liquor and meat in Devbhoomi Uttarakhand. Swami Anand Swaroop said that Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami should start it from Haridwar itself. He further said that all the religious places across the country that have mosques, those mosques should be handed over to the people of Hindu religion, so that mutual love and harmony can be maintained.

Swami Anand Swaroop said that Uttarakhand is a land of gods, hence there should be a complete ban on the sale of liquor and meat here. He said that Haridwar is a holy pilgrimage city. Liquor and meat should not be sold here. Therefore, he demands from Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami that the government should start this campaign from the religious city Haridwar itself. Swami Anand Swaroop said that the decision of complete prohibition of liquor in Mathura and Ayodhya of Uttar Pradesh was taken by UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Which is a welcome step.

This should be started in Devbhoomi also, first of all liquor and meat should be banned in the entire district of Haridwar. These days everyone is excited about Shri Ram Temple. Everyone is waiting for 22nd January. Speaking on Shri Ram Temple, Swami Anand Swaroop said that he will also go to Ayodhya on January 22 for the festival of Ramlala. Along with this, he has demanded from the people of a particular religion that all the religious places in the country which have mosques, should be handed over to the people of Hindu religion, so that mutual love and harmony can be maintained. It should be started from Ayodhya. Swami Anand Swaroop said that for the sake of mutual brotherhood, 5 acres of land found in Ayodhya should be given to build a Gurukul.
