Transport strike continues for the second day in Uttarakhand
On the first day of the new year, drivers took to the streets in Uttarakhand to protest against the hit and run law being introduced by the central government. Due to which people had to face problems. The effect of this strike was visible in the entire state on the second day also.
Strike will continue on 2nd and 3rd January also
On one hand, Kumaon Motors Owners Union (KMU) has announced a strike and taxi drivers in Kumaon have also supported this strike. The impact of this strike was clearly seen in the capital Dehradun and religious city Haridwar. Let us tell you that the strike will continue for two more days on January 2 and 3.
People worried at the station, kept waiting the whole day
Due to the strike, people remained troubled across the state on Monday. People kept waiting for vehicles at the stations but could neither get buses nor taxis. Due to which people could not reach their destination. Tourists who came to the mountains to celebrate New Year also had to face problems.
