Madhya Pradesh government has taken major action regarding the incident related to truck divers in Shajapur. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has removed Shajapur Collector Kishore Kanyal. This action has been taken against the District Magistrate for his statement asking about ‘aukat’ from the driver. In place of Kishore Kanyal, the government has now appointed Narsinghpur Collector Riju Bafna as the new Collector of Shajapur.

Regarding this matter, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said, this government is the government of the poor. Everyone’s work should be respected and feelings should also be respected. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, we are working for the welfare of the poor. We are continuously serving the poor. The Chief Minister said that as a human being, such language is not tolerated in our government. I myself am the son of a laborer family. It is not appropriate to speak such language. Pay attention to officer language and behavior.

Let us tell you that amidst the truck drivers’ strike, a video of the Collector of Shajapur surfaced on social media on Tuesday, in which he is seen asking ‘Aukat’ from a driver during a meeting. Later Collector Kishore Kanyal had expressed regret over the use of this word.

In fact, the collector lost his temper during the meeting with the drivers union representatives. It is seen in the video that when a representative of the drivers requested the Collector to talk to them properly, he asked the drivers and others not to take the law into their hands. He said to each person, what will you do, what is your status?

Chair not left even after clarification and apology

Shajapur Collector Kishore Kanyal had apologized for the statement regarding ‘Aukat’. At the same time, in his clarification he had said, “The district and police administration had called a meeting of 250 drivers of the district. In fact, many of those drivers had created a lot of nuisance on Monday. Due to this, a meeting was called in the Collector’s office and the drivers were advised not to take the law into their hands. Express your protest democratically. Meanwhile, a person attending the meeting was repeatedly disrupting the meeting and saying that if the demands are not met by January 3, we can go to any level. At that very moment these words came out of my mouth. If anyone has been hurt by my conversation, I am sorry.”

Drivers in various parts of Madhya Pradesh had stopped work demanding the central government to withdraw the new law related to hit-and-run cases. Were demonstrating at various places. Because of this the general public was facing problems. Drivers Association staged a fierce demonstration in Shajapur district. The district administration and police had called a meeting to talk to him. During this time, during an argument with a driver, the Collector had said something about ‘Aukat’.
