Uttarakhand: Most of the police recruitments will be done in six months, DGP said – unemployed people will get benefit from the waiting list

Most of the police recruitments will be done in the first six months of this year. Along with this, departmental promotions will also be done in a time bound and transparent manner. DGP Abhinav Kumar gave this information to journalists at Patel Bhawan on Tuesday. Along with counting the achievements of the previous year, he also set the targets for this year.

DGP Abhinav Kumar said that this year there will be an effort that the police will be included in the top five police of the country on the basis of every criteria. Said that Uttarakhand Police is at number one in the country in uncovering incidents of robbery, theft etc. The average of police in recovery is also the highest in the country.

This time the target has been set to include Uttarakhand Police among the best police of the country in other areas also. He also laid emphasis on technical training for peace and law and order, disclosure of incidents etc. Said, there are going to be changes in major laws in the coming time. For this, training will be started as per the instructions of the Government of India. Officers and employees will be trained by giving detailed information about these laws.

The unemployed will get benefits

He also mentioned the challenges of this year. Said, Chardham Yatra, Kanwar Yatra, Lok Sabha elections, disaster management and National Games to be held next year will be challenges for the police. But, just as three G20 events were organized one after the other last year, in the same way all these challenges will also be dealt with efficiently under the leadership of police officers. Manaskhand is going to be developed in Kumaon region. In such a situation, efforts will be made to start a separate battalion of SDRF to deal with disasters in this particular area and Kumaon region.
