Uttarakhand: Officials did not send names for National Bravery Award, how will children get the honour?

Every year on 26 January, brave children of the country are honored with the National Bravery Award. For which names are sent to the Center from all the states. But this time not a single name was sent from Uttarakhand. Whereas there are not just one but many such brave children in the state who have saved the lives of others by risking their own lives.
No one from Uttarakhand will get National Bravery Award
This time no one from Uttarakhand will receive the National Bravery Award. This is because the applications of the children were not sent even till the last date. The reason for which is the negligence of the officials. Despite there being many brave children in the state, the authorities did not send their names.
Officials did not give names even after asking several times
On not sending even a single name for the National Bravery Award, the State Child Welfare Council says that in order to ensure that the brave children of Uttarakhand get the National Bravery Award on Republic Day, the SSP, DM, CEO, Director of the Education Department of all the districts should Letters were sent several times. But even after this they were not given names.
Pushpa Manas, general secretary of the State Child Welfare Council, said that from the entire state, only one name was sent from Bageshwar district. Apart from this, the applications of the brave children were not sent till the last date 31st October 2023.
Name came from Bageshwar district but investigation was not done
The name of Bhaskar Parihar, a student of GIC Amsiyari of Bageshwar district, was sent to the State Child Welfare Council for the National Bravery Award. Bhaskar Parihar had saved the life of a student from Guldar on 24 August 2023. It is being told that this application was sent to the CEO for investigation but till now its investigation report has not been received.
