Uttarakhand: Vigilance team reached the house of JE accused of taking bribe, closed the gate and talked to the family members

Vigilance team also reached Bazpur, the house of MNREGA contract JE Faim Ahmed, who was caught taking bribe in Kashipur block. The team closed the gate of the house and also took information from the family members.

Late on Friday evening, the Vigilance team raided the house of former head Rahis Ahmed, father of contract JE Faim Ahmed, who was caught taking bribe, in Bazpur village. Suddenly seeing the team in the village, there was panic among the villagers. Neighboring people gathered at some distance from the house. The team closed the gate of the house. No person was allowed to enter the house. The vigilance team started intensively searching inside the house.

Sources reveal that the Vigilance officers have also interrogated the family members of the accused JE. The team is examining the documents in the house. The local police is not ready to tell anything.

In 2019, JE of Energy Corporation was arrested for taking bribe of Rs 20 thousand
On April 19, 2019, the Vigilance team in Kashipur had arrested the JE red handed while taking a bribe of Rs 20,000 in the Energy Corporation office. JE Rajendra Kumar of Pratappur had demanded Rs 31,000 from the victim Himendra for giving the connection of the mill but the victim did not agree, after which it was decided to pay Rs 20,000. Himendra had complained about this to the Vigilance team, after which a six member team under the leadership of CO Vigilance Arvind Singh Dangwal arrested the JE while taking bribe in the Energy Corporation office.
