Child pornography content was being uploaded on YouTube, cyber cell registered FIR in Mumbai

Cyber Cell in Mumbai, Maharashtra has filed a case against a YouTube channel and YouTube in a child pornography case. Sources said that the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) had informed Maharashtra Cyber Cell that content like child pornography has been uploaded on a YouTube channel. A video with a four-year-old minor girl was uploaded on that channel which was obscene. After this, a case has been registered against YouTube and a YouTube channel in Maharashtra Cyber Cell under Section 509 of IPC, Section 15, 19 of POCSO and Section 67 B of IT.
No one has been arrested yet
An official said that the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) had issued a notice to the Superintendent of Police Cyber Cell on January 8 asking for an investigation. The Commission said that videos of sexual exploitation are being uploaded on YouTube. Cyber cell officials started investigation and found that the channel was being operated by a resident of Palghar district in Maharashtra, he said. The officer said that no arrest has been made in this case.
