Uttarakhand / Dehradun: A living woman was shown as dead in the papers, after which this black act was carried out

By preparing fake documents, the accused showed a living woman as dead and sold the property in her name to someone else. Rajpur police station has registered a case against two accused. In the complaint given to the police, Vishal Thapa resident Lachhiwala told that there are some shops in Jakhan in the name of his mother Sheela Thapa alias Shanti Thapa. Some shops are in his name while in some he is a shareholder.
The complainant said that some time ago he got information that his maternal uncles Jagat Thapa and Mahesh Thapa, in connivance with each other, prepared a fake will on March 27, 2006 with the aim of taking over the shops. On the basis of sale deeds and affidavits, with the aim of deceiving other co-owners, the jointly owned property was sold to Shalini Shahi and Amitabh Shahi Vikas Nagar by showing that their mother Sheela Thapa was dead.
In the fake will, the accused have shown the complainant’s mother Sheela Thapa as dead in June 1977 whereas Sheela Thapa alias Shanti Thapa is still alive. Rajpur police station incharge Jitendra Chauhan said that a case has been registered against the accused and the documents are being examined.
