Pithoragarh, Munsiyari and Champawat are being connected by heli service under the UDAN scheme. This service will be started in a week. Heritage Aviation has made preparations to start regular heli service. For this, permission has also been received from the Ministry of Civil Aviation.

DM inspected the helipad
On Friday, District Magistrate Vandana Singh and Heritage Aviation GM Manish Bhandari inspected the helipad located at Goulapar. He informed that heli service is being started from Haldwani to Pithoragarh, Munsiyari and Champawat. For this, the company has also been given permission by the Ministry of Civil Aviation, Government of India. Along with this, NOC has also been received from UCADA.

Let us tell you that seven seater heli service will start from Haldwani. Helicopters will fly from Haldwani twice a day. Their return will also take place on the same day. For this, at present one helicopter will remain in Haldwani only. Along with this, 2 pilots and 4 engineers will be deployed at the helipad.
