82 year record of snowfall in America broken, temperature can reach minus 45 degrees

These days heavy snowfall continues in America. More than 21 inches of snow has fallen in the last one week, breaking the 82-year-old record of snowfall. Earlier, this much snowfall had occurred in the year 1942. About 7 crore people in America are affected due to bad weather. More than 4700 flights have been canceled so far. Electricity supply to more than 2.5 lakh houses has come to a standstill. According to the US Meteorological Department, the temperature is expected to reach -45 degrees due to snowfall.
