Uttarakhand / Uttarkashi: Youth assaulted constable in Purola, case registered

A surprising case has come to light from Purola in Uttarkashi district. While trying to regulate the traffic system here, a police constable was beaten up by a young man. The young man even tore the constable’s uniform. A case has been registered against the accused.

While improving the traffic system in the main market of Purola, a youth started fighting with a police constable. According to the information received, on Friday afternoon, while clearing the jam in the main market and smoothening the traffic system, a scuffle broke out between a young police constable on duty and the issue of removing the vehicle parked in the middle of the road.
Police constable’s uniform also torn
The fight between the two escalated so much that the young man even tore the constable’s uniform. The accused youth has been identified as Satyavan Singh Rawat, resident of Mori. On the basis of Constable Manoj’s complaint, a case has been registered against the accused. Constable Manoj has alleged in the complaint that the accused youth also disrupted government work by tearing the scarf and assaulting him while on duty.
