Uttarakhand: There will be transparency in registering ACR of policemen, DGP formed a four-member committee

A four-member committee has been formed under the chairmanship of ADG Admin regarding registering the Annual Return (ACR) of the employees in the police. DGP Abhinav Kumar said that with this, more care can be taken of fairness and transparency in filing ACR. So that uniformity can be brought in the grading system. In this committee, ADG will be the chairman of the admin committee and Police IG Personnel, IG PAC and IG Intelligence will be the members.

At the same time, DGP Abhinav Kumar has instructed police captains to increase awareness about crime victim schemes. The DGP was reviewing the payment cases of the Crime Victims Scheme. During this time it was found that the number of beneficiaries receiving crime victim assistance is very less in relation to the total crime.

In such a situation, he has asked all the police captains, station in-charges and investigating officers to increase awareness about these schemes. For this, awareness should be spread regarding applications in courts, district legal services authorities and state legal services authorities.

DGP said that at present Uttarakhand Crime Victims Scheme 2013 and Uttarakhand Crime Victims Scheme 2013 and Uttarakhand Retribution Scheme 2020 for women survivors of sexual crimes and other crimes are in force to pay compensation money only to female victims.
