Liquor will be sold for the first time in the stronghold of Islam, why did the Saudi Prince approve? Jinnah’s Pakistan in dilemma

The first liquor shop is going to open in Saudi Arabia, the country of Mecca and Medina, the two holiest cities of Islam. Saudi Arabia has approved the first liquor store in its capital Riyadh. This liquor store will be especially for non-Muslim foreign diplomats. To purchase liquor, the customer will have to register through a mobile store. After this they will get the clearance code. Each customer will have a monthly quota. Strict Islamic laws are in force in Saudi Arabia and drinking alcohol is considered haram and that is why the sale is banned. After this approval of Saudi Arabia, now the government of Pakistan is stuck in a dilemma where alcohol is officially banned but is easily available everywhere.

This step of Saudi Prince Mohammed bin Salman is being considered a milestone. Analysts say that the Saudi Prince has approved the sale of alcohol to increase tourism and business. In fact, by the year 2030, Saudi Arabia wants to reduce the dependence of its economy on oil. Electric vehicles are increasing in the world and it is certain that oil purchases will decline in the future. This is the reason why Saudi Arabia wants to bring rapid change within itself. Saudi Arabia’s neighboring country UAE has become a hub of trade across the world through Dubai.

Saudi Prince’s plan ‘Dubai’

Now the Saudi Prince wants to repeat this success of UAE in his country. This is the reason why he is spending billions of dollars and building a new city named Nayom. This liquor shop of Saudi Arabia will be in the diplomatic area of Riyadh where the embassies are located. This liquor will be sold only to non-Muslims. It is not yet clear whether other non-Muslim migrants can also buy liquor from this shop or not. Millions of foreign workers work in Saudi Arabia but most of them are Muslims from Asia and Egypt.

There is a very strict punishment for drinking alcohol in Saudi Arabia. This includes hundreds of lashes, deportation, fines or prison sentences. Now flogging has been reduced and replaced by prison sentence. Saudi Arabia has changed many strict rules in recent times and has also given relief to women on wearing burqa. Women can now drive. Saudi Arabia is now promoting non-religious tourism also. This vision is being given according to 2030.

Pressure also increased on Pakistan

In this, the emphasis is on promoting local industries so that local people can get jobs. After Saudi Arabia, now the pressure has increased on the Pakistan government to approve liquor. Till now, following the path of Saudi Arabia, Pakistan had not approved it, but liquor is easily available in every city there. Not only this, liquor is also being made for China in Pakistan.
