After Kejriwal, crime branch action on Atishi, team arrived early in the morning to give notice

The Crime Branch team went to the residence of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and served the notice after a dramatic drama that lasted for five hours. After Kejriwal, Delhi Police today also reached the house of Education Minister Atishi to give notice. Atishi is not present at home. Asked the people of the camp office to receive the notice. Yesterday Atishi was out of Delhi, so today the Crime Branch team has come to give her notice. Delhi Police has sought a reply from Kejriwal within three days on the allegations of BJP trying to poach seven Aam Aadmi Party MLAs. Delhi Police team has returned from Atishi’s house.

Why notice to Atishi?
Let us tell you that last week Kejriwal and Atishi had made serious allegations against BJP of trying to buy their MLAs. Kejriwal had said that BJP has offered Rs 25 crore each to seven AAP MLAs to topple his government in Delhi. After this, Delhi Minister Atishi also alleged in a press conference that BJP has started ‘Operation Lotus 2.0’ in Delhi. Atishi said, ‘He had made a similar attempt last year to win over AAP MLAs by offering them money, but he failed.’

BJP demands Delhi Police to investigate the allegations
Following these allegations, a delegation led by Delhi BJP chief Virendra Sachdeva complained to the Delhi Police on 30 January and demanded an investigation into the allegations. In this case, the team of Delhi Crime Branch had also reached the residence of Kejriwal and Delhi Minister Atishi on Friday. However, on Friday, no notice was served to Kejriwal and Atishi because the officials at Kejriwal’s residence had refused to accept it and Atishi was also not present at the residence.
