Uttarakhand: Girl gang raped for three hours in a moving car, four boys carried out the incident; Case registered

Four criminals kidnapped a girl from Hiranagar at 7 pm on Saturday and gang-raped her in a moving car. The girl kept screaming but her voice remained muffled inside the closed windows of the car. Mukhani dropped the girl at the intersection and ran away. Kotwal Umesh Malik said that on the complaint of the girl, a case has been registered against four youths and two accused have been arrested. The investigation was handed over to a woman sub-inspector and CCTV cameras are being scrutinized.
A 22-year-old girl, resident of Mukhani police station area, had left her home at around seven o’clock for Palam City to attend a wedding ceremony. She came by e-rickshaw and got down near Sushila Tiwari Hospital. His brother was supposed to come there to pick him up. When he did not come for a long time, she called her mother but when she did not answer the call, she reached Hiranagar intersection on foot.
Meanwhile, a Tata Punch car stopped near him in which four people were traveling. They pulled the girl into the car and locked the car. The girl alleged that the youth who were drinking took her phone and forcibly made her drink alcohol. After this the vehicle kept roaming in the streets of Haldwani for three hours. During this, all four raped her. After dropping the girl at Mukhani intersection, all four ran away. Here the girl called her friend with whom she reached home on a scooter. Told my mother my ordeal. The next day the girl filed a complaint in the police station against Manoj, Sonu, Ashu and Rishi.
Two accused arrested
SSP PN Meena said that the police has arrested Rishi, resident of Gaujajali, Manoj of Mangalpadav. The car has been recovered. Rishi does the work of betting.
