Jharkhand: ED reached High Court to cancel the FIR registered against its officers, Hemant Soren had filed the case

The agency has approached the High Court regarding the FIR lodged under the SC-ST Act against the officers of the Enforcement Directorate on behalf of former Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren. ED has challenged Soren’s decision to register the case. It has been told that the agency had filed a petition in this matter in the Jharkhand High Court on February 3.

What is the matter?
It is noteworthy that recently ED teams had raided Hemant Soren’s residence in Delhi. After this, Soren complained to the Ranchi Police against the ED officers and an FIR was lodged. Let us tell you that after raiding Soren’s Delhi residence, ED had recovered a huge amount of cash from the bungalow. ED officials had said that Rs 36 lakh in cash was recovered from Hemant Soren’s bungalow, along with two luxury cars were also seized.

ED seized some important documents from a bungalow in Delhi
ED raided Hemant Soren’s bungalow in South Delhi and the ED team remained present in the bungalow for about 13 hours. The ED team had reached Hemant Soren’s bungalow for questioning in the alleged money laundering case related to the land scam in Jharkhand. Along with cash, ED has also recovered a Haryana number BMW car and another car along with some important documents from the bungalow. According to media reports, Hemant Soren has told ED that he will meet at his Ranchi residence on Wednesday.
