The former Deputy CM of Delhi had requested the Supreme Court to hear the petition soon. The Supreme Court has accepted Manish Sisodia’s petition and is ready for hearing soon. Let us tell you that earlier a Delhi court had extended the judicial custody of Manish Sisodia till 22 February 2024.
According to the information, after a long time, good news has come for former Deputy CM of Delhi Manish Sisodia. After the bail petition and review petition were rejected, the Aam Aadmi Party leader had filed a curative petition in the Supreme Court. He had also requested the apex court to hear the matter soon. Manish Sisodia’s petition was heard in the Supreme Court on Monday. The court has accepted his petition and is ready for hearing soon.
Ruaz Avenue court order
Earlier, former Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi Manish Sisodia was produced in Rouse Avenue Court on Monday morning in the case of Delhi’s repealed excise policy. The court sent AAP leader Manish Sisodia to judicial custody till 22 February. Let us tell you that Manish Sisodia has filed an application in the court not only for regular bail but also for parole. However, at present Sisodia has not got relief from the court. He will have to remain in jail till 22 February.
Notice to CM Kejriwal also
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has also been given a notice by the Enforcement Directorate in the Delhi liquor scam case. ED has so far served 5 notices to CM Kejriwal, but he has not appeared before the agency even once for questioning. After this the ED has approached the court. Now this matter is pending before the court. CM Kejriwal somehow ignored the ED summons and did not appear for questioning.
