Fighting resumes in Gaza Strip
Meanwhile, Israel has resumed fighting in the northern Gaza Strip amid increasing international appeals for a ceasefire. On Monday, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) reported that its soldiers had returned to the areas where they previously operated.
