Uttarakhand: BJP’s victory in milk union is the result of schemes run for milk revolution – Manveer Chauhan

The state has hoisted the flag of BJP’s unopposed victory in all the milk union elections. State media in-charge Manveer Singh Chauhan has given credit for the victory to State President Mahendra Bhatt and the welfare policies of the state government and has heartily thanked all the farmers associated with the committees for their support.

Giving information, Chauhan said that out of total 9 milk committees of the state, the election process has been completed on 8 under the leadership of Cabinet Minister Saurabh Bahuguna. In which BJP candidates have won unopposed for the post of Chairman of all the committees. Expressing happiness over this unilateral victory, he said, this confidence of the farmers associated with the committee is the result of the schemes run for milk revolution under the leadership of PM Modi and CM Dhami.

Under the supervision of Cabinet Minister Saurabh Bahuguna, there has been a record increase in milk production in the state, and in recent years, the government has also increased the price of milk purchase. The benefit of which was that the income of farmers from milk business has increased on a large scale. The result of departmental efforts is the changes in the lives of farmers associated with milk production that they are with the Dhami government. Apart from this, the strategic ability of State President Mahendra Bhatt and election in-charge Vishan Singh Chunphal has worked to bring all the committees unanimously in favor of the party. He said that as per the pre-determined programmes, the elections for the Managing Committee members were held on 5th February and the elections for the Chairman on 6th February. In which Mrs. Prabha Rawat as Chairman from Khatima Milk Production Cooperative Union, Mrs. Parvati Rawat from Champawat, Mrs. Bhavna Bhatt from Pithoragarh, Girish Chandra Kholia from Almora, Bhumi Singh from Dehradun, Pramod Kumar from Haridwar, Mrs. Deepa Devi from Srinagar Garhwal, Smt. Manju Devi has won unopposed as BJP candidate from Chamoli. The party has congratulated all its chairmen and members who won the milk union elections. Also assured to work for the welfare of all the farmers.
