Uttarakhand: In the case of violence in Haldwani, CM Dhami directed ADG Law and Order AP Anshuman to camp in the affected area.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has instructed ADG Law and Order AP Anshuman to camp in the affected area to ensure peace and law and order in Banbhulpura area of Haldwani. Taking strict view of the incident of attack on police and administration officials and personnel during the removal of illegal construction and spreading unrest in the area, the Chief Minister has given instructions to take strict action against the unruly elements.

While holding a high level meeting at the Chief Minister’s residence, the Chief Minister instructed the higher officials to maintain constant coordination with the District Magistrate, Nainital. He has asked ADG Law and Order and District Magistrate Nainital to ensure peace and order in the area by taking strict action against the culprits of the incident. He said that each rioter involved in arson and stone pelting should be identified and action should be taken against them. The Chief Minister has given clear instructions that strictest action should be taken against those who play with law and order in the state.

On this occasion, Special Principal Secretary/ADG Amit Sinha, Secretary R. Meenakshi Sundaram, Shailesh Bagoli, Vinay Shankar Pandey, Additional Secretary J. C Kandpal was present.
