Maharashtra: When immediate action was not taken on the complaint, the person set fire outside the police post, got burnt

A painful incident has come to light from Pune, Maharashtra. Here a person set himself on fire outside the police post. Since no immediate action was taken on the man’s complaint, he set himself on fire. The age of the person is said to be 34 years. The police officer gave information about the incident. This incident happened in Wagholi area on Tuesday.
Dispute regarding parking
Police said that Rohidas Jadhav set himself on fire outside the police post. Policemen extinguished the fire and took Jadhav to the hospital. Police said that Jadhav’s condition is critical. Rohidas Jadhav had filed a complaint against another person over a parking dispute in his housing society, in which the police registered a case under non-cognizable offence. A counter complaint was also filed in this matter.
Demanded immediate action
“Jadhav came to the police post in Wagholi area on Tuesday morning and demanded immediate action on his complaint,” the officer said. “The policemen assured him of necessary action as there is no provision for arrest in the complaint filed under non-cognizable offence.” The officer told that but Jadhav was not understanding the matter. He told that after this Jadhav went outside and sprinkled some inflammable substance on himself and set himself on fire.
