Price of gold and silver in international market
At the same time, softening of gold and silver prices is being seen in the international market. Gold has fallen by Rs 50 to Rs 62,350 per 10 grams, while silver has also fallen by Rs 1,400 to Rs 74,000 per kg, whereas in the previous close it had closed at Rs 75,400 per kg.
Gold price in futures market
The price of gold has increased in the futures market. The price of gold contract for April delivery fell by Rs 233 to Rs 61,271 per 10 grams. Today gold was traded in 13,632 lots on MCX. The price of silver has also fallen by Rs 429 to Rs 69,210 per kg. MCX silver contracts for March delivery declined by Rs 429, or 0.62 per cent, to Rs 69,210 per kg on a business turnover of 31,691 lots.
