A heart-wrenching case has come to light in the district. Actually here a man killed his wife by slitting her throat with a stick. After the murder, the accused youth was going to the post with his wife’s cut throat. Meanwhile, the police arrested the accused. There is an atmosphere of panic in the area due to this incident. The whole matter is of village Basara of Kotwali Fatehpur area. It is being told that there used to be disputes between husband and wife. Yesterday also there was a dispute between the two, after which the husband got angry and slit his wife’s throat with a knife. At present the police has arrested the accused.

Giving information about the case, Superintendent of Police Dinesh Kumar Singh said that the accused Anil Kanojia is a resident of Basara village of Israuli outpost of Fatehpur Kotwali. Anil was a mason by profession. He was married to a woman named Vandana Kanojia 8 years ago. Both also have two children. He told that Anil suspected that a young man was having illicit relations with his wife. There used to be disputes between the two regarding this matter.
Throat slit with a knife
SP said that after a dispute this morning, Anil allegedly murdered Vandana by slitting her throat with a sharp weapon. He told that after that Anil was going to Israuli post with Vandana’s severed head in one hand and Banka in the other hand. Meanwhile, the police arrested the accused Anil. There has been a sensation in the area after receiving information about this incident. Additional Superintendent of Police (North) Chiranjeevi Nath Sinha said that the matter is being investigated.
