Uttarakhand: BJP will welcome opposition MLAs who believe in Modi’s development vision – Mahendra Bhatt

On the ongoing dilemma in the opposition parties, the BJP clarified that the BJP welcomes all the opposition MLAs who are impressed by the development vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and want to increase the development policy and the party will send them back to the House on the lotus symbol.
Taking aim at the Congress, State President Mahendra Bhatt said that BJP’s victory is certain, hence sensible Congress leaders are avoiding entering the fray. Besides, calling the ED notice in every case as a normal procedure, he advised cooperation in the investigation.
In an informal conversation with journalists at his Yamuna Colony residence, Bhatt said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi and Chief Minister Dhami, the country and the state are touching new heights of development. Due to which the blessings of the public are completely with BJP. This is the reason why the public rejects anyone who stands against Modi ji’s development policy. There is huge public pressure on the opposition representatives also to participate in the goal of making Uttarakhand the best state. He also termed the discussions about opposition MLAs joining BJP as a result of this public pressure. He made it clear that any Congress or opposition MLA who wants to join BJP to strengthen Modi ji’s development policy will be welcomed and assured that even if he leaves the legislature, we will send him back to the assembly on the lotus symbol.
Responding to the questions regarding factionalism and movements of the Congress, Bhatt said that none of the leaders and workers in the Congress party has the courage to face the public, being thoughtless, issueless and void of principles. Congress has been doing power based politics, hence it cannot accept defeat under any circumstances. After being repeatedly rejected in the Parliament, Assembly, Municipal bodies and Panchayats for a decade, it is not wise for their big leaders to contest elections just to lose. Congress workers do not participate not only in elections but also in the movements. Because like the public, they too are becoming participants in the development journey of the country and the state. This is the reason why the workers along with the public remain absent from their movement, which their leaders vent out by abusing the people of Uttarakhand.
On the question asked by ED about the notice to Harak Singh Rawat and his daughter-in-law, he clarified that this is a way of working of ED, in which notice is given in this way. It is not that this is happening during the BJP rule, this is how ED works in all governments. It would be better that Congress party leaders should cooperate in the action of ED, so that the investigation becomes full of milk and water.
